Robert Wheeler crossed the finish line of the 2013 Boston Marathon about a minute prior to the terrifying explosions blasting into the crowd on Boylston Street. During the next few hours, Robert spent time helping people, even saving a man’s life. Throughout all he witnessed on that horrifying day, Robert maintains his passion for running, and vows to run in the Boston Marathon again. Like everyone who was involved, his road to recovery from the events has not been easy.
26.2 Miles Closer to Living, a documentary by New Road Film, will follow Robert as he is training to come back to Boston in 2014 and run again. The film is not a documentary of the bombing events; instead, it is showcasing the human spirit of recovering from a horrible event, and retaining a pure passion for running.
You can guarantee, I’ll be one of the first in line to see this film.
